  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN SEPTEMBER Saints celebrated on the 19th of September SAINT TROPHIMUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate Saints Trophimus and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:  "The same day, the holy martyrs Trophimus, Sabbatius, and Dorymedon, senator, under the emperor Probus. By command of the governor Atticus, at Antioch, Sabbatius was scourged until he expired. Trophimus was sent to the governor Perennius at Synnada, where he and the senator Dorymedon consummated their martyrdom by decapitation, after enduring many torments." The Roman Martyrology states:  "At Arles, the birthday of Saint Trophimus, mentioned by Saint Paul in his Epistle to Timothy. Being consecrated bishop by that Apostle, he was the first sent to preach the Gospel of Christ in that city. From his preaching as from a fountain, according to the expression of Pope Saint Zosimus , all Gaul received the waters of salvation."
