Saints celebrated on the 8th of October

MARTIUS, HERMIT

Martius, a pious servant of God, lived for 60 years at a hermitage near Norchia. He imitated the austere life of St Francis of Assisi and died in A.D. 1301 at a ripe old age. (Seraph. Mart.)
