Saints celebrated on the 21st of May
SAINT GAIUS, BISHOP OF PARETONIUM
Saint Gaius lived at the time of the Arian heresy and was a staunch follower of St Athanasius. For this reason he was expelled from his episcopal see at Paretonium and sent into exile. He survived his sufferings, though, and was restored after the synod of Alexandria. The year of his death is unknown.
