ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER
Saints celebrated on the 31st of October
Saint Mirocles (Mirocletus) was the eighth bishop of Milan. Descended from wealthy parents, he brought considerable goods to this church. He also put the choir prayer of the clergy in order. In A.D. 313, Mirocles attended a synod in Rome. With his deacon Severus he also took part in the synod at Arles.
As Papebroche* has clearly determined, this holy bishop's death occurred on October 31, 315. He is buried in the Church of St Victor. (Ugh. IV. 22 et 40).
St Mirocles is also commemorated on April 30, November 30, and December 3.
