Saints celebrated on the 15th of June
SAINT VIRUS, HERMIT
Saint Virus (Vonga), who also occurs under the names Vius and Vio, died about the year 585 as a hermit in Brittany. A bishop of Armagh, he left this seat voluntarily to live in perpetual penance at Treguennec, bishopric of Quimper. Several churches and chapels consecrated to him demonstrate the veneration he received.
