Saints celebrated on the 4th of March
SAINT CAIUS PALATINUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Saint Caius, with the suffix Palatinus, then Asterius, Uranius, Sisinnius, Paul, Philip, Heresilus, Basil (Basilius), Tepicerus, Gregory (Gregorius), Euticus, Victurus, Victorinus, Pecculus, Quirinus, Eutocus, Marius, Honoratus, Asclepidianus, Sisinnius, Felix, Lucius Gaiosa, Fortunatus, Lucius, Pelvianus, Rusticus, Florian (Florianus), Donatus, Hilarianus, Fortunatus, another Caius, Julius, Pylicus, Anthony (Antonius), Fronimus, Asclepiades, Fortunion, Castrus, Fortius and a further 16 or 19 Companions died by martyrdom; but whether it was in Rome and in the year 259, as some writers state, is not at all certain. After the torture their bodies are said to have been thrown into the sea. The Roman Martyrology* also mentions Saint Caius with 27 companions, who are not listed by name, on March 4.

On March 4, the Roman Martyrology states:
The same day, Saint Caius, a member of the imperial household, who was drowned in the sea with twenty-seven others.
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Caius and Companions may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
