SAINT FELIX, MARTYR OF MILAN

A page of one of Fortunatus Hueber's
Saints' books,
"Stammenbuch..." (1693)

Saint Felix was a martyr in the Milan region. He suffered around the year 303 or 304, and his name can be found in the Roman Martyrology* on July 12.

On a reliquary crafted by Michael van der Voorst of Antwerp, which is kept in Cologne, Felix and Nabor are carved in white marble, both appearing as warriors armed from head to toe.
