ARCHANGEL SAKUEL


It is claimed that Sakuel is the name of an archangel. He is listed in an Ethiopian hagiology*.  According to the same, he is the special ruler over the evil spirits and has the keys to the rain tank. Where these superstitious statements come from is unknown to us. In any case, they are not verified by Holy Scripture, nor approved by any ecclesiastical authority (v. 369).
