SAINT EPIPHANIA, VIRGIN
Saint Epiphania, a virgin at the monastery of Saint Maria in Pavia, was a daughter of Flavius Rachis, king of the Lombards, and his wife Theresia.
Even as a ten-year-old girl she carried such contempt for the world in her heart that she vowed eternal virginity to her God. She later took the vows of the Order, and after a life full of merits delivered her pure soul into the hands of her Creator on October 6, around the year 795. (III. 439)

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Epiphania may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
