ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN AUGUST
Saints celebrated on the 24th of August
In the first half of the 6th century, there lived near Autun, France, Saint Eptadius, priest and confessor.
Some hagiographers regard him as a Benedictine saint, write the Bollandists*, because his relics were transferred to a Benedictine monastery (Cervidunum) and exposed to public veneration. (IV. 775)

PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Eptadius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
