Saints celebrated on the 30th of July
SAINT ERMENGYTH, VIRGIN
Saint Ermengyth (Ermengitha), a daughter of Ermenred (Klito), and a niece of King Ercombert of Kent, took the veil at the monastery of Minstrey on the Isle of Thanet, which had been founded by her sister Ermenburgis. Saint Mildraudis, her niece, was the second abbess there. Ermengyth died at the end of the 7th century. She used to be venerated in England. (Mg.)
