SAINT EUDEAMON AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
The Greek name Eudeamon means happy, blissful.
Saint Eudaemon, commemorated on August 24, was a martyr with 37 companions from Philippopolis in Thrace, who also appears in connection with Severus and Memnon. The Roman Martyrology* lists the Martyrs of Thrace on August 20. (IV. 741. 29)
