Saints celebrated on the 1st of July
BLESSED EZZO, BISHOP OF SALZBURG
At first, Blessed Ezzo was an abbot at Saint Peter, then bishop of Salzburg. He worked with much zeal in his profession.
When the strength of his body waned, he practised contemplative prayer at all times until the Lord called him to his eternal reward around the year 790. (Lech.)
