Saints celebrated on the 18th of May
Saint Brauns, (commemorated on May 18), a nephew of Abbot Saint Columba on the island of Hy, is venerated in the church of Cleonadh in Hifoelain in the province of Leinster. For this reason he is also called Branus Reg or Barvus de Cleonadh. Migne* lists him as a confessor of Cleonanad in Leinster and states that he died around the year 600.
