Saints celebrated on the 4th of November
WELCOME!
SAINT PHILOLOGUS, BISHOP OF SINOPE
Saint Philologus, commemorated on November 4, said to have been Bishop of Sinope, is identified as a disciple of Saint Paul.
This assumption rests on the premise that the passage in Romans 16:14-15 refers to him. The Roman Martyrology* states that he is venerated alongside the holy confessor Patrobas, likewise a disciple of Saint Paul.
