(1693) According to  Saint Jerome 's older version of the Roman Martyrology *, the priest Macedonius (Macedo) obtained his martyrs' crown at Nicomedia, together with Patricia (also called Matritia and Mitritia), Modesta, the priest Cyrio (or Cionus), Saturninus, Januarius, Salvius (or Silvius), Petronius (or Petrunus), Modestinus, Bosimus, the priest Eustasius, Basilla (or Basillissa), the deacon Eppepodus (Eppodus), and 11 unnamed Companions. Patricia was Macedonius' wife, Modesta his daughter. No other details are mentioned.
