Saints celebrated on the 6th of June
SAINT MARY, VIRGIN AND MARTYR OF PERSIA
Saint Mary (Maria) virgin and martyr in Persia, was imprisoned in A.D. 346 during the reign of Sapor II. Her fellow prisoner pastor Paulus apostasized and even condescended to be the executioner of the saint. (Mg.)
