Saints celebrated on the 9th of June
SAINTS ASIMUS AND PARILIUS, BISHOPS OF CHUR
(S.S. Asimus and Parilius)
Saints Asimus (Asimon) and Parilius, commemorated on June 9, were the first bishops of Chur in Switzerland (Curia Rhætorum). The Swiss source (Schweizer-Hagiolog) relates that Saint Asimus attended a council held by Pope Leo in 452, and also a council of Milan. The Bollandists* did not find sufficient proof for these statements and duly list both saints among the Praetermissi.
