ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER
Saints celebrated on the 11th of October
BIENERIUS, HERMIT
According to some sources, Bienerius (Biendrius), memorial: October 11 or October 16, is said to have been a hermit in Osma in Spain. He was a different person than Saint Bernerius, who is also venerated on October 16. The authors who mention him call him "Saint Bienerius." But since the Bollandists* have founded reasons to doubt whether a hermit Bienerius did indeed live at Osma at all (Oct. Tom. VII. p. 1185), we refrained from giving him a title in our entry.
