SAINT ALBINA, VIRGIN AND MARTYR
Saint Albina, a sister of Saint Paxentius, suffered martyrdom with him in Paris under Emperor Antoninus. According to Migne*, the relics of the holy virgin Albina, together with the mortal remains of Saint Paxentius, were kept in a silver reliquary at the Benedictine monastery of Saint-Martin-des-Champs in Paris and, in times of public misfortune, were carried around in procession along with those of Saint Genevieve.

PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Albina may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
