Saints celebrated on the 16th of November
WELCOME!
SAINT GALLA, WIFE OF EUCHERIUS
Saint Galla (November 16), the mother of the holy virgins Consortia and Tullia, is listed by Ado under this date. She was of noble lineage and wealthy in earthly goods. Her husband was called Eucherius. Yet she shone even more brightly through the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. She has frequently been confused with the holy widow Galla of Rome as well as with Galla of the Durance and Galla of Auvergne.

PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Galla may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
