He suffered about the year 297; he was crucified and a nail was driven through his head. He was a companion of  Saint Hipparchus . The Roman Martyrology states:  "Also, the holy martyrs Domninus, Theotimus, Philotheus, Silvanus, and their companions, under the emperor Maximinus."
