ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL Saints celebrated on the 9th of April SAINT PROCHORUS, DEACON AND MARTYR Today, we also commemorate Saint Prochorus. The Roman Martyrology states: "At Antioch, Saint Prochorus, who was one of the first seven deacons. Renowned for faith and miracles, he was crowned with martyrdom." PRAYER: Grant to your Church, we beseech you, O Lord, through the intercession of Saint Prochorus, not to think high-mindedly, but to grow in humility pleasing to you; that, despising what is base, she may with unbounded love diligently do whatever is right. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
