The Roman Martyrology states:  "In the castle of Blaye, Saint Romanus, a priest, whose holiness is proclaimed by glorious miracles." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Romanus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation.
