ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN SEPTEMBER Saints celebrated on the 19th of September SAINT TROPHIMUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate Saints Trophimus and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states: "The same day, the holy martyrs Trophimus, Sabbatius, and Dorymedon, senator, under the emperor Probus. By command of the governor Atticus, at Antioch, Sabbatius was scourged until he expired. Trophimus was sent to the governor Perennius at Synnada, where he and the senator Dorymedon consummated their martyrdom by decapitation, after enduring many torments." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Trophimus, Sabbatius, and Dorymedon may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
