The Roman Martyrology states: "At Cagliari, in Sardinia, Saint Saturninus, martyr, who was beheaded under the governor Barbarus, during the persecution of Diocletian." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Saturninus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation.
