The Roman Martyrology states: "At Vienne, Saint Sindulphus, bishop and confessor." SAINT SINDULPHUS, BISHOP OF VIENNE Saint Sindulphus, Bishop of Vienne, is mentioned by the Bollandists *. His name is also listed in the Roman Martyrology. According to Guerin *, Saint Sindulphus died around A.D. 650, while Migne * states 669 as the year of his death. The French call him Sandoce and Sandou. (Guerin.) Saint Sindulphus is also commemorated on June 3.
