SAINT PAUL AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Saint Paul and Companions, Martyrs ( January 14 ).  Saint Paul suffered martyrdom in Africa together with Saints Successus, Victorinus, Saturus, Missor, Gerontius, Lucentius, Januarius, Agapritus, Crucessius, Cufra, Florida , Theocosia, and eight others who remain unnamed. Further details about their lives and martyrdom have not been handed down to us. SAINT PAUL AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Saints Paul, Martin ( Martinus , Maturinus),  Orban   (Orbanus), Saturnin (Saturninus), Quintilianus, Publius, Ingenius, Victor, Successus, Julian (Julianus), Palatinus, Julius, and two unnamed companions, suffered martyrdom in Thessalonica. However, some of the sources state that they obtained the martyr's crown in Egypt.
