SHE EMBRACED THE RULE OF THE NUNS OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL When she was twenty years old, she embraced the rule of the nuns of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Solicitous for the salvation of souls, she built many monasteries and proposed that the original rule of the Carmelite foundation be observed by its women and men.
