(1693) A number of saints' catalogues list Saints Victor, Marcellinus, Satullus, Crusus, Agathonia, Saturnin, Philippolus, Dativus, and also the virgins Aquilina and Eulalia on this day. Usuardus * and Wandelbert *, in accordance with the Martyrology of  Saint Jerome *, specify that they suffered in Thessalonica. All of them attained the imperishable crown of martyrdom there - except Saint Eulalia , who was martyred at Asta (Asta Regia) in Spain. No further details are provided.
