Saints celebrated on the 13th of November
BLESSED ADALBERO, BISHOP OF METZ
Blessed Adalbero was the third of this name on the episcopal chair of Metz. Nicknamed the Luxembourger, he came from a very distinguished family and lived around the middle of the 11th century.
Around the church of St Saviour he arranged for apartments to be erected. These were then used by the regular clerics so that the canons of this collegiate church could lead a communal life.
After his death, which took place in 1072, his remains were buried in a chapel in the church of St Saviour, which he had built especially for this purpose.

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Blessed Adalbero may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
