SAINT BODINUS, BISHOP OF TROYES
Saint Bodinus (Bobinus), bishop of Troyes, was a native of Guienne, but went to Troyes, where he lived in the monastery of Saint Frodobert, called Moulier-la-Celle and was professed a monk.
HE MADE GREAT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONASTERY
After the death of the Bishop of Troyes, he was elected his successor. He rebuilt the church of his monastery, embellished the tomb of the first abbot, St Frodobert, and made a great contribution to the monastery, which is why it was also known as Bobinzell, named after him. According to some, he died around the year 790, according to others around 800.
