ST MAGNUS, MARTYR - 1 JANUARY

SAINT MAGNUS, MARTYR

Today, we also commemorate Saint Magnus, martyr. The Roman Martyrology states:

"The same day [January 1], Saint Magnus, martyr."

PRAYER:

O God, who gladden us each year by the feast of your martyr, Saint Magnus, graciously grant that, as we rejoice in his merits, we may be inspired by his example. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
