SAINT ALBINUS, BISHOP, AND SAINT GENUINUS, BISHOP
SAINT ALBINUS, BISHOP
Saint Albinus (Albuinus), bishop - his name is derived from the Latin: albus = white; the white, clean one.
He is credited with moving the episcopal chair from Seben (Sebatum, Sabion) to Brixen. St Albinus was valued very highly by Emperor Henry the Saint and is buried in Brixen.
In the Roman Martyrology, his name is mentioned on February 5, together with St Genuinus.
SAINT GENUINUS, BISHOP
Saint Genuinus (Ingenuinus), bishop of Seben in Tyrol, is famous for the numerous miracles attributed to his intercession. He died around the year 630.
