SAINT TOCHUMRA, VIRGIN IN IRELAND
Saint Tochumra was titular saint of the parish of Tochumracht, in the diocese of Fenabore, otherwise called Killfenora; the cathedral of which bears the name of Saint Fachnan, who seems to have been the first bishop of this see, which is situated in Munster; but since the year 1660 is annexed to the archbishopric of Tuam.
ANOTHER SAINT TOCHUMRA, VIRGIN IN IRELAND
In the diocese of Kilmore, this saint was much honoured on this day, and also all over Ireland, and invoked by women in labour.

PRAYER:
O God, who gladden us each year by the feast of blessed Tochumra, graciously grant that, as we rejoice in her merits, we may be inspired by her example. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
