Saints celebrated on the 14th of July
SAINT IDUS, BISHOP
(Saint Idus, Bishop of Ath-Fadha, in Leinster.) He was a worthy disciple of St Patrick, by whom he was baptised. He is often invoked in the old Irish prayer in verse which bears the name of St Moling.

***
Idus, Ep. (July 14). He is said to have been baptised by St Patricius [St Patrick]. He then became a monk and bishop of Ath-fadhat in the Irish province of Leinster. However, the Bollandists could find no evidence to place him among the saints who enjoy public veneration.
