WELCOME!

SAINTS COSMAS AND DAMIAN, MARTYRS

Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian were brothers who lived in the 3rd/4th centuries. They were from present day Turkey. Working as doctors, both treated their patients without asking for payment. The brothers were martyred during the persecution of Emperor Diocletian. Their cult soon became widespread due to numerous miraculous healings through their intercession.

PRAYER:

Lord,

we honour the memory of Saints Cosmas and Damian.

Accept our grateful praise

for raising them to eternal glory

and for giving us your fatherly care.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.
