Saints celebrated on the 12th of August
SAINT ANICETUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saints Anicetus and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Nicomedia, the holy martyrs, the count Anicetus and his brother Photinus, with many others, under the emperor Diocletian."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Anicetus and Companions may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
