Saints celebrated on the 11th of July
SAINT CINDEUS, PRIEST AND MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Cindeus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Sida, in Pamphylia, Saint Cindeus, priest, in the time of the emperor Diocletian and the governor Stratonicus. After suffering many torments, he was thrown into the fire, but remaining uninjured, he yielded up his soul in prayer."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Cindeus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
