Saints celebrated on the 18th of July
SAINT EMILIANUS, MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Emilianus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Dorostorum, in Mysia, in the time of Julian the Apostate and the governor Capitolinus, Saint Emilianus, martyr, who was cast into a furnace, and thus received the palm of martyrdom."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Emilianus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
