Saints celebrated on the 31st of July
SAINT FABIUS, MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Fabius. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Caesarea, the martyrdom of the blessed martyr Fabius. As he refused to carry the ensign of the governor of the province, he was thrown into prison for some days, and as he persisted twice in confessing Christ when brought before the judge, he was condemned to capital punishment."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Fabius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
