Saints celebrated on the 7th of August
SAINT FAUSTUS, MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Faustus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Milan, Saint Faustus, a soldier, who obtained the palm of martyrdom after many combats, in the time of Aurelius Commodus."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Faustus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
