SAINT FLORENTIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS

Today, we also commemorate Saint Florentius and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states: 

"At Perugia, the holy martyrs Florentius, Julian, Cyriacus, Marcellinus, and Faustinus, who were beheaded in the persecution of Decius."

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Florentius, Julian, Cyriacus, Marcellinus, and Faustinus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
