Saints celebrated on the 24th of June
SAINT JOHN THERISTUS
Today, we also commemorate Saint John Theristus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Stilo, in Calabria, Saint John, surnamed Theristus, distinguished for his fidelity to the monastic rule, and for his sanctity."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Theristus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
