Saints celebrated on the 18th of June
SAINT LEONTIUS, MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Leontius. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Tripoli, in the time of the governor Adrian, Saint Leontius, a soldier, who, through bitter torments, attained to the crown of martyrdom, together with the tribune Hypatius and Theodulus, whom he had converted to Christ."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Leontius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
