SAINT LUCILLA AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS

Today, we also commemorate Saint Lucilla and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states: 

"Again, at Rome, the holy martyrs Lucilla and Flora, virgins, Eugenius, Antoninus, Theodore, and eighteen companions, who underwent martyrdom in the reign of the emperor Gallienus."

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Lucilla, Flora, Eugenius, Antoninus, Theodore, may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
