Saints celebrated on the 30th of June
SAINT LUCINA OF ROME
Today, we also commemorate Saint Lucina. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, Saint Lucina, a disciple of the Apostles, who relieved the necessities of the saints with her goods, visited the Christians detained in prison, buried the martyrs, and was laid by their side in a crypt constructed by herself."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Lucina may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
