Saints celebrated on the 20th of June
SAINT NOVATUS, CONFESSOR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Novatus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, the demise of Saint Novatus, son of the blessed senator Pudens, and brother of the saintly priest Timothy, and of the holy virgins of Christ Pudentiana and Praxedes, who were instructed in the faith by the Apostles. Their house was converted into a church, and bore the title of Pastor."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Novatus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
