SAINT PTOLEMY, BISHOP AND MARTYR

Today, we also commemorate Saint Ptolemy. The Roman Martyrology states: 

"At Nepi, Saint Ptolemy, bishop, disciple of the blessed apostle Peter. Being sent by him to preach the Gospel in Tuscany, he died a glorious martyr of Christ in the city of Nepi."

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Ptolemy may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
