Saints celebrated on the 11th of May
SAINT SISINUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Sisinus and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Osimo, in the March of Ancona, the holy martyrs Sisinus, a deacon, Diocletius and Florentius, disciples of the priest Saint Anthimus, who consummated their martyrdom under Diocletian by being overwhelmed with stones."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Sisinus, Diocletius, and Florentius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
